Join the core engineering team at a fast-growing digital health technology company. In this role, you will design, build, and scale the backend services and patient-facing applications that power EHR-integrated healthcare solutions.
You will work with a modern tech stack centered on TypeScript, Node.js, and React, deploying high-performing microservices directly to AWS. This position is a full-time W-2 employment role through Cincinnatus LLC, offering the opportunity to work embedded within a leading healthcare technology team.
Key Responsibilities
Build Core Services: Design and develop scalable TypeScript and Node.js applications for complex clinical workflows and EHR data integrations.
Develop Front-End Interfaces: Build responsive, high-performing web apps using React and TypeScript optimized for both desktop and mobile users.
Manage Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy, monitor, and operate microservices inside containerized environments on AWS.
Integrate Third-Party Tools: Build and maintain secure API integrations with patient-engagement, tracking, and notification systems.
Collaborate and Mentor: Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions, balancing code quality with rapid startup execution.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production-ready systems.
Language Proficiency: Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Backend Development: Proven experience building RESTful or event-driven APIs using Node.js framework ecosystems like NestJS or Express.
Frontend Expertise: Deep understanding of React, state management, and modern CSS frameworks.
Core Fundamentals: Solid grounding in computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, OOP design, and distributed systems.
Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green Card holder) currently living in the United States.
Preferred Skills
Prior experience working within healthcare tech startups or handling health data integration standards.
Hands-on experience building or maintaining high-throughput messaging platforms.
Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Professional expertise with Tailwind CSS.
