In this role, you will architect, scale, and maintain modern, production-grade cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Architecture: Design, implement, and scale secure, high-availability cloud infrastructure solutions leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) best practices.
Infrastructure Automation (IaC): Automate end-to-end deployment, configuration, and monitoring management workflows using industry-leading DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code.
Kubernetes Orchestration: Administer, scale, and optimize Kubernetes clusters (GKE) to ensure maximum reliability, performance, and container orchestration efficiency.
CI/CD Pipeline Optimization: Collaborate closely with software development teams to build, streamline, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to accelerate release cycles.
Cloud Security & Compliance: Enforce cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), and governance standards across all cloud-native architectures.
Incident Management & Performance Tuning: Proactively monitor system health, identify infrastructure bottlenecks, and resolve cloud incidents to minimize downtime.
Technical Documentation: Author clear, thorough architectural blueprints, deployment guides, and knowledge-sharing documentation to empower the engineering team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
GCP Expertise: Strong hands-on experience designing and operating production environments on Google Cloud Platform.
Containerization: Proven expertise in Kubernetes administration, cluster management, and orchestration tools.
Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with modern IaC tools, specifically Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
CI/CD Mastery: Solid experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
DevOps Methodologies: Deep understanding of systems engineering, automation frameworks, and Agile/DevOps workflows.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both engineering teams and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Cloud Certifications: Google Cloud professional certifications, such as GCP Professional DevOps Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect.
Hybrid/Multi-Cloud Environments: Experience managing workloads across hybrid cloud setups or multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Compliance Standards: Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) in cloud-native applications.
